Resources School Premises: School is a temple of learning and a training ground for future citizens. Chairman S. Jaspal Singh Randhawa founded the school in 1992. At present our school is split in two section viz. Primary schooland Senior Secondary school. The atmosphere in which our school is situated is very pleasant. It is surrounded by a play ground on one side and our CBSE branch on the other. There are thirty two class rooms in the Senior Secondary School building and thirty two class rooms in the Primary School building. This includes various Labs like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Lab. Other rooms in the building are used for different purposes such as the Principal's Office, Library, the Clerk's Office, the Teachers' Staff-room, the Music Room, etc. There are sixty two teachers, two librarian, four clerk and twelve peons in our school. All the teachers are well qualified and experienced. The Principal is a well qualified having 35 years of experience. The total number of students of our school is about fifteen hundred. The discipline, the study atmosphere and the brilliant academic result of our school attract many meritorious students from distant parts of our state. It is an ideal school in all respects. Cleanliness in Schools: School is a place where one can learn so many things. It helps the students to grow up into a responsible person. Every day the students spend a lot of time in school for learning and playing. Cleanliness, Personal hygiene, Good sanitation provides a clean school environment for the students to keep them in good health and safe. Rules to be followed to maintain the cleanliness in Schools: Dos and Don’ts: Dos Put the waste materialonly in the dust bin. Use the school property such as Chairs, tables, duster and chalks carefully. Keep the class room and school premises clean. Maintain personal hygiene properly. Maintain the toilets clean and hygienic. Don’ts Don’t throw the papers, chalks or any other waste materials in the class rooms and ground. Don’t break the school property. The school provides the most modern labs which are continually upgraded. Theory is incomplete without practical. One needs to completely get involved in the various practical experiments whether it isChemistry, Biology or Physics, to get a thorough knowledge and understanding of what had been taught in the theory class. Labs are neatly arranged with a view to a fresh approach. When a student walks in, the Lab assistant and the teacher both assist him / her in understanding and undertaking experiments. Computer Lab.: The School has two computer laboratories with about 20 computers in each Lab accessible to students. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The department has qualified committed teachers to teach different classes at different levels i.e. Primary, Secondary andSr. Secondary. The faculty members make continuous efforts to see that the students must get expertise in practical implementation of tools they have in their curriculum. Library: The school library is integral to the teaching and learning process. The school library facilitates the work of the classroom teacher and ensures each student has equitable access to resources, irrespective of home opportunities or constraints. The library of our school is a big one. There are about two thousand books on different subjects; we have a library period in our weekly routine. We borrow books from our library and refund them after a week. Staff Room: It is a place where teachers share their views and learn from each other and explore the world’s latest information. The staff room is no longer just a place to spend your lunch hour. It is a place to work undistracted by students, an escape away from noisy corridors, a change of scene, a break-out area, a library to store important documents, and a place to conduct meetings. Staff rooms boost the morale of teachers. This communal area is where teachers can connect with one another. A reminder that working in a school is a team effort. Teachers need that network and this support reflects positivity onto the students, improving results all around. |
